A team of German scientists under the leadership of Prof. Thomas Lisowsky has developed and patented a “toolbox” using inorganic chemistry (non-carbon-based compounds) to kill pathogen cells by sustainably destroying their DNA and RNA chains.
The fact that the solution is very effective against microbes and – at the same time – mild to the skin and biologically degradable attracted the attention of former Johnson & Johnson and Procter & Gamble senior managers. They easily imagined the huge potential for cosmetic surgery and healthcare industry. So those created Tecuro AG in Lucerne, a company focused on women’s healthcare under the leadership of Dipl. Ing. Jean-Jacques Becciolini.
